What is your relationship with Harvard or MIT?

Founded in 2006 by Harvard Alumni, we are a private company that employs over 100 Harvard and MIT students. We are an official partner of Harvard Student Agencies, The Harvard/MIT COOP, The Harvard Museum of Natural History and The Harvard Art Museums, and the MIT Museum. We provide tours for nearly every Harvard graduate school. Our founder is a Board Member with the Harvard Square Business Association and our company is a member of the Kendall Square business association as well. We are proud to serve Harvard and MIT.

Who leads our tours?

Our tour guides are current Harvard and MIT students! When you join a Hahvahd Tour, you’re getting the inside scoop from someone who knows the ins and outs of Harvard University. When you join the Historic Tour of MIT you are getting the real deal from someone who has made MIT their home. As current students, our guides are a resource to guests who want to learn more about the Cambridge experience.

How far will I walk on the tour?

The tour routes are each less than one mile. We walk at a leisurely pace through campus.

We operate rain or shine year-round. During severe thunderstorms with lightning our public walking tours do close for the safety and comfort of our guests. Don’t worry - storms never last long in New England!

Is this a good tour for prospective students to take?

Yes, in fact, National Public Radio has called the Hahvahd Tour “the real deal” for prospective students. However, it is important to note that we are not the Harvard Admissions tour. We encourage all prospective students to visit the admissions office at some point on their visit to Harvard or MIT. While our tours are geared toward guests of all ages from across the globe, prospective students can gain a lot of insight about the Universities and their culture. Your guide will be a current student and is happy to answer your questions!
